Sun., June 18 - fly USA to Moscow

Mon., June 19 - Arrive in Moscow. Check in at hotel, afternoon walking and/or bus tour and evening dinner.

Tues., June 20 - Visiting museums in the Kremlin, Art Museum, Artist’s Studios. History Museum for those interested; shopping in the Arbat, GUM, etc.

Wed., June 21 - Afternoon shopping at the GUM, visiting the Red Square, Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (the main Church of Russia). Evening train to Cheboksary (20.42)

Thurs., June 22 - Arrival in Cheboksary (09.00). Transfer to the Solnechny Bereg Spa (10.00)(SUNNY BEACH - a health resort 15 kms away from Cheboksary on the right bank of the Volga river). Check in. Massage and treatments (if needed) till noon. Departure to Cheboksary at 14.00 on an excursion and/or Ethnographic museum at school No.19. Special Program for the guests. Welcome party at the restaurant “At the EFREM’S”)

Stay at the hotel/health center in Cheboksary for the next 7 days:

Fri., June 23 - Opening ceremonies of the Peoples of the Volga River festival - see craftspeople and folk singing and dancing events in the Red Square of Cheboksary. Dinner at the Russian restaurant EMELYA in the downtown.

Sat., June 24 - More Festival Events; Chuvash National museum and/or Arts Museum, meeting Chuvash painters; Supper at OU EMELI (At the Efrema's), a famous Chuvash restaurant.

Sun., June 25 - One day trip to Kosmodemyansk, Mari Ethnographic Museum on the bank of the Volga in the open Air. Two-hour bus ride. Return to Cheboksary/health resort towards evening. Banya and shashlyk party in the evening.

Mon., June 26 - Chuvash country wedding according to ancient traditions. A trip to the Chuvash village.

Tues., June 27 - All day visit to the museums in Kazan (3,5 hours by bus) - or option to stay in Cheboksary and shop, sightseeing, visiting show rooms at the exhibition center.

Wedn., June 28 - Shopping in the morning. Farewell party. Check out from the hotel. Departure to Moscow by train. (18.23)

Thurs., June 29 - Arrival in Moscow (07.00) More sightseeing till evening train to St.Petersburg. (20.00)

Fri., June 30 - Arrival in St. Petersburg at 7.00. Check in at the hotel. Free time till 12.00.
Hermitage Museum in the afternoon (Some may wish to visit the Ethnographic Museum, see the wonderful jewelry collection and the folk dress). Take a boat ride thru the canals towards evening. Kirov Opera theatre in the evening.

Sat., July 01 - Travel to Tsarskoe Selo (Katerina’s Palace) on the Bay of Finland by bus. Amber Chamber. Afternoon shopping. Or visit to the Kunstkammer.

Sun., July 02 - Fly back to the USA.
